Link progressive applies when the machine is connected in series with a group of machines and also connected to a progressive controller. When correctly installed and active, the current progressive top awards are the same for all machines in that fink. Standalone progressive applies when the machine is not connected in any way to other machines. Internal progressive amounts must be set for each machine.
